In this first installment, Bink talks about the original concept for the game, making a tech demo and getting Empire to sign the game.

It would be interesting if the first 80% of the game (like the movie) was just falling back in various fun ways. Kind of like having levels with timelimits (the timelimit being the swarm of bugs), and having to do things to slow them down, or rescue people. I'm not sure its really possible to capture that 'oh shi' feel from the film with a regular 'go in and blast them' type mission.
I also hope you can shoot off limbs and the bugs still keep fighting.
