  • I had an opportunity to play this at the CPL a few weeks ago, (the single player) and I have to say I was completely impressed with it. It was just amazingly fun. Running into a room and shooting up the place, with shell casings dinging off he ground, plaster flying everywhere, the smoke that builds up during the fight, the really solid punch of the weapons.

The audio was actually my favorite part. The graphics were great, like Doom 3 meets Half Life 2. Like it had all the tricks of Doom 3, but scaled back a lot so that the place didn't look like it was coated in plastic and covered in binary shadows.

Oh, and the creepy ghost girl kept popping up too. This will be a great game to play with the volume turned way up at 2 am in a dark room.

This is going to be a hell of a single player game. The MP is fun but I don't think it will have much staying power. I'm really really looking forward to it.
