Sunday Afternoon ShackReviews
by Maarten Goldstein, Jul 24, 2005 10:00am PDTYou can't hide from it, the Sunday afternoon update to the ShackReviews database. Not a whole lot new came out this week, so I added a couple of more older titles (including two from this year that slipped through the crack). If there's a game you want in the database, see if it's already there and if not, request it!
- Nanostray (DS)
- Colosseum: Road to Freedom (PS2)
- Asheron's Call: Throne of Destiny (PC)
- GTR - FIA GT Racing (PC)
- Delta Force Xtreme (PC)
- ThunderForce V (PSOne)
- D/Generation (PC)
- sinistarfith has written an in-depth review of In the Groove (PS2).
- Another pair of reviews from Masem as he offers his thoughts on the PS2 games Final Fantasy X and Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana.

I've actually been playing the Saturn version of the game on and off for the past few weeks and it's just as exciting as when I first got my hands on it years ago! :)
After comparing our copies, a friend of mine and I confirmed that the SS version (which only came out in Japan) has some differences from the US release on the Playstation.
He insists the SS version's in-game graphics are nicer looking, however the PSOne version packs more extras:
Those animated cut scenes in between levels don't show up in the SS version. Both games have an Omake folder with lots of nice wallpapers of the ship and the lead character, but the PSOne version has way more pictures than the SS version.
