by Maarten Goldstein, Jul 11, 2005 11:03am PDTThe official BlizzCon website is now up, offering more information on this Blizzard organized "celebration of the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises and the players who have helped make them so popular around the world". The event will take place October 28-29 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, and tickets will go on sale July 21. Yes, tickets, as fans who want to attend this event will have to plunk down $120 (I guess World of Warcraft doesn't bring in enough money). So what can you expect from BlizzCon?

I can not believe that they have the gall to charge $120 to go to this thing..and what are they offering that warrents the price? opportunity to buy even more merchandice? Unbelieveable.
If you ask me, they should have taken some of the cost upon themselves and offered tickets for $40-$50.
They 'claim' to be doing this for the fans, whatever. Day by day as I read the boards, i lose more and more respect for the creators of WoW.

Wait a minute... or you could just stay home and play it. If you own it, that is. Along with everythign else, except for Ghost, which nobody will ever play. ZIING! Sorry, couldn't resist. Blizzard is very fast losing their place as the idyllic game house they were in the times of WarCraft II, Diablo, StarCraft, Diablo II...
