The week started with my car not working, and it is ending with my desktop PC crapping out. Without prior warning my C:\ drive said "I've had enough of your shit" and died. chkdsk gets to all of 32% before telling me it found unrecoverable problems, which is pretty awesome. I hope a format will fix this because I really dont want to buy a new HDD. Of course I'm not looking forward to all of this anyway, seeing how I have to reinstall everything and probably will not see my archive of emails ever again. A disk backup system is probably in my future. Movie: KKHHHAAAAAAAAANNNNNNN

  • So tonight I've watched two mediocre movies that were both suprisingly entertaining.

Timeline : The beginning is rushed, it's like 'HEY LETS GO BACK IN TIME OMG YES LETS GO WE'RE THERE' and then it get's a lot better. It's kind of an uinimaginitive adaptaion of a m.c. novel. Also that paul fucker from that stupid car movie thought he was in some weird space porno, and proceeded to deliver his lines like he was going to have to strip down and have arduous gay sex with someone at any moment. Thankfully, everyone just kind of ignored him and nobody took their clothes off. (Although in the beginning, the young scottish guy, not the awesome monty python guy, was like 'Do you want to see something romantic?' out of no where, and gestured off screen, and then Paul whatthefuck was like 'yes!')

Dark Blue: It was like that movie with michael keaton back in the day, but in LA. Seriously felt like an old school 80's cop drama, except the off the cuff racism was actually supposed to be ironic here. It was pretty entertaining, although not particularly deep. (and also, 92, fuck I remember 92, and nobody had hair like that kurt russel, you're a dirty hair liar, and a thief)

Anyhow, thoroughly suprised by both movies, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any other semi shitty but actually good movies floating around showtime/hbo I should tivo.
