Blizzard has released new patches for StarCraft, updating the original game and its Brood War expansion pack to version 1.13. Changes include your units always showing on top in the minimap, and game exploit fixes.

This really says alot about the company. Many games barely get support after their released in the first place. It's usually "ok the game works, no gamestopping bugs, fuck the fans." But with Blizzard, as long as there's a community and a need for a patch it's worth it to them.

I don't play starcraft and have no interest to, but everyone should take the time to applaud their beautiful work ethic.

If they added some resolution support beyond 640x480, I'd still be playing SC, but as it is the low res hurts my eyes. :(

I wonder how many people still play StarCraft online. Probably more than one would think based on how old this game is.

We still play this game every now and then at our lan's. It still is mucho fun. IMHO this is why Starcraft is one of the best games ever.

Run a poll like what you'd like to be to our(korean) kids any day now and the most response you get is STARCRAFT PRO GAMER. I dunno if this is fucked up or... deep rooted love for one single game. Hell, the game's still one of the most selling title here.
