I've got an upcoming date with a hottie (pic to be posted if I get some helpful replies) and I have, what seems to me, a huge problem:

I don't drive.

Yeah, that's right, I don't drive. About 2 years ago I got a DUI (though its not on my driving record as that), decided I wouldn't drive for awhile because of the costs involved. Finally when I was getting ready to insure myself again, etc... when my Honda CRX HF (which is the only car I'd drive with gas prices high) got stolen. It wasn't insured at the time, lol, so... fucked!

In any case, I've just been bussing it to work and school for the last 2 years now. I like it a lot. It saves me a TON of money, is better for the environment, and helps reduce traffic. Problem is, I'm sure she'll want me to pick her up.

I'm thinking that just meeting might be okay, but I'm sure some shackers have much more creative ways of dealing with this than I do :)

P.S. Please don't lecture me about the DUI, I know it was a realllly big fuckup, I rarely drink anymore - and obviously don't drive. I feel bad enough about it.

I watched most of the 90 minutes of the Mexico - Argentina soccer game. Here is my ignorant question of the day:

If you want to win at something so bad that you resort to dirty tricks, kicking, elbowing, etc, then why don't these players join some fight club or something and beat the shit out of each other. I don't understand how this is part of the game and it is allowed (for the most part). If I was a ref at the end of the match there might only be 8 players on the team and a shitload of fuckers would be very sad come next game. Main thing that turns me off to watching and getting into soccer. Bunch of dirty mother fuckers and it seems people think it is acceptable as long as the players are crafty and don't get caught.

The setting: small 16 player maps for a change. no jet/chopper rapes, no crazy billion flag chases. some tanks, apc, and a few maps have transport helis. this is mostly about infantry. you've all played the 64 player ones, and i'm betting not many have even tried one of the smaller maps. his server supports 24 players because even the small maps can be quite large for 8 players a side.

I can't say I expect many to show, but it should be easy to fill it up for a few rounds knowing how many shackers have the game by now. Let's go, please. I'm begging you. The massive maps will always be there. C'mon, don't be a pussy, yes YOU >:(

the japanese voice acting is just as bad as the english voice acting in Castlevania Lament of Innocence :(

Classic ASP and uploading files

So here's the issue. Boss needs me to get image uploading capability in his application by tommorow. He's hosted under infoquest servers. Infoquest provides ASPUpload, however that somehow messes with his applications sessions and is not workable. So i looked around and found other scripts.

However the other scripts have issues uploading because user doesnt have permissions. ASPUpload works around it by letting you provide a login/pass in its upload code. Other scripts ask you to make the upload directory uploadable by internet guests.

The host wont agree to it. What options do i have ?

Does anyone know of a free ASP Uploading script that has login/password ability in it ?

Woah, so I was considering registering a new BF2 account to change my nick name. But was hesitant b/c it also means having to reset all my settings and stuff. I was poking around in the profile when I saw the file Profile.con. Check out the first two lines of the file:

LocalProfile.setName "xxxx"
LocalProfile.setNick "xxxx"

Does that mean I can change my in game name to something other then my login!!! Sweet jebus!

So I just watched Fighter in the Wind, a korean movie about Choi Bae-Dal (Masutatsu Oyama) the "Toughest Man in the World" and founder of the Kyokushin school of Karate. AWESOME movie.

Anyways, midway through, Choi's training in the mountains and this european opera-metal band kicks in and starts wailing on guitars and such. It totally sounds like NIGHTWISH}r]b except it isn't because I didn't recognize the song. Does anyone have any idea what band/song that is?
