Things have changed a tiny bit over the last decade but it's still quite a bit of fun! So sHugamom and her hubby have decided to pitch in with what they can. Firstly John works for Lockheed and has access to getting a private tour of the assembly line (1 mile long!) of that JSF plane and a few others. We figure a bunch of you guys might be into seeing that. Secondly the after party is at the historical house my mom has been working on for years. Here's the Shackmeet details

If your name isn't on the list above ... that means you're just figuring to come only to the shugashack afterparty and dinner which we're planning to run from about 5:45 or 6:00 pm till about 9. That's when the bus leaves. If we have some shack stragglers, that's ok too.
The Lockheed Aero plant is on US Air Force property and it's a controlled access situation. So, that's another reason for the bus and JSFighter John will be our "responsible" escort. We're delighted that so many of you are interested in visiting and celebrating 10 years of shack.

To be honest.. When I first came here, I didn't come for the Quake or 3Dfx news... or even for the eventual comments section. I came for teh funny!
Each bit about an adventure at the apartment complex or description of why spilling stuff on your keyboard sucks still hold up to this day.

I have only been visiting regularly for a couple of years and really wish I had started earlier. You are on only website that I pay money too and it really does feel like money well spend.
Keep it up for another 10 years, I can't wait!
Also, can you maybe give us some stats on how the shack has grown in web traffic, some high points, and staff changes and the like? I for one would find that very interesting.

Everyday i would get entertainment out of the shack. For, what i can guess is 7 years at leaste, every day he entertained me. That's fucking rediculous. I'd like to thank the shack staff and I will continue to thank them with my mercury subscription as long as it's available. I don't even care if one day I give up computers, I will stay subscribed to give back a shred of what you guys gave me.
