Late Night Consoling

28
As you are reading this, I'm currently over by the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco at a press event looking at a game that has yet to be fully revealed. I'll give you guys the full scoop within a couple days (Edit: I lied, can't talk for over a month), but for now I can't say much. Sadly, I leave tomorrow morning and will only spend 25 hours here in San Fran, my first ever visit to this city. This place is pretty nifty and I would've loved to seen more of it. I did make one stop and that was Sony's Metreon, the huge entertainment center. There's a theater, arcade, Sony Style store, a PlayStation store, restaurants, comic book store, import toy store.. tons of crap. Pretty neat although quite expensive. In any case, if I missed a story, forgive me as I'm writing this very early. I'll have you all caught up tomorrow.
  • Cure for Dead Pixels on Your PSP?

    [psp]

A "miracle cure" is being talked about all across the Internet that can fix the dead pixels on your PSP. Supposedly, a common industry technique when dealing with LCDs with dead pixels is to run a video that flashes the colors red, green, and blue in a fashion that would cause a seizure for the epileptic. A PSP owner created such a video, played it on his PSP, and voila! Dead pixels were gone! I'm not brave enough to try it, but if you do dare, report back with the results.

  • Two New Strategy Titles for the DS

    [ds]

The Nintendo DS already has a handful of promising RTS games in development but you can add two more onto the list. Two of Strategy First's titles will get ported over: Jagged Alliance and Disciples. No other details on these games are available at the time but gamers were promised that these won't be the last RTS releases from them.

  • Adopt a Nintendog in August

    [ds]

Nintendo finally announced an official release date for Nintendogs and it will be August 22, a bit earlier than expected. Like in Japan, three versions will be released but all dogs can be unlocked on each version. Exclusive to the US version are the golden retriever, husky, and boxer. Who wants to wait outside Best Buy with me?

Jugling alone = cool. DDR along = arguably cool...both at once is unquestionably dork level.

Asinine? You're saying he has poor judgement, or that he resembles an ass when dancing and juggling?

Oops typo, meant "asinine" and I mean he's "complacently or inanely foolish".
