Meh, Been playing Advent Rising a few hours, the game is amazing. It literally feels as tho as if your playing a movie. Great action, great combat, great sound and graphics. Maybe one or two textures seem a little bland but eh, thats extremely minor. Also, rest assured with the framerate issues you've all heard about. It does slow down a little bit, but not as dramatic as Gamespy and IGN played it out to be. Overall, great game!!!

Yea, I know. The reviews weren't the best. But in all honesty, it isn't as bad as they perceive it to be. I'm only about an hour or so into the game, and from what I've played is very, very intruiging (sp?). The targeting system is good for the most part; given that occasionally it can slip and move to another enemy when your focused on another. But after a while you get used to it and look past that. The framerate issue again, isn't all as bad as IGN/Gamespy put it to be. Given it does slow down when you have like 20 enemies or so on the screen, but alot of other recent games on Xbox that I know of slow down in some sections also. The story is magnificent, and the sound/music is great. I can see the replay value on a scale of 1 - 10, i'd say an 8. There are some areas that I have reached; matter of fact that I'm stuck at that I wish I would just beat already lol. But, overall great game.
