Wrap-up of the Microsoft E3 Media Briefing

9

Since we were quite busy getting our HD footage up and loaded last night, we held off on posting my wrap-up of the event. Here it is now, complete with a few pictures and a look at that Xbox 360 faceplate that they gave away.

Allard also introduced a segment that showed how the Xbox 360 is essentially "always on." Any user can easily move from function-to-function with quick button presses. Go from playing a game to listening to music to watching a movie to viewing live HDTV and then accept a game invite and come full circle, completing the Xbox 360 experience. Everything happened seamlessly; no loading or long waits, just press and go. Best of all, the majority of these Xbox Live functions will be free.

I know everyone thinks it's kinda ghey, but I happen to think the changeable faceplate thing is a totally awesome idea.
