  • The multiplayer in this game better be great or I won't pick it up. I could care less about Doom3 expansion packs. Doom3 was neat to play, but I want bright spacious maps with fights inclose and long distance. There should be enough options to tweak my framerate to levels that my middle of the road computer can give me smooth play when there are 8 enemies on the screen at once. 30+ players on q2dm1 or q2dm8 is what its all about.

Quake2 had a great raw feel to the controls, Quake3 was too homogenized, and Doom3 is a single player game. Quake4 has so much potential, but could end up being Doom3 in a different outfit.
