Destineer Buys Atomic Games

GameSpot reports that Close Combat: First to Fight developer Destineer is purchasing Atomic Games, developer of the original Close Combat games. Says Peter Tamte of Destineer: "With our Atomic acquisition, we are making a commitment to make Close Combat the leading military RTS game once again".

Nobody that worked on the Close Combat RTS games works there anymore. All they have is the name now. (I work with two of the guys that worked on 1 through 4)

The word 'Atomic" makes any sentence better. Atomic Suplex, Atomic Wedgie, etc.

I would have bought Atomic Games just to use the phrase "Atomic acquisition"
