Remedy has opened a teaser website for their upcoming game, which is indeed called Alan Wake (as we speculated a few weeks ago). The site offers the first two screenshots from the game, which is described as a "psychological action thriller". A brief teaser trailer with some in-engine footage can be found at FileShack.

It's nice to see they seem to be exploring the "psychological" aspect more with this. Max Payne 2 is the (underappreciated) high water mark when it comes to incorporating psychological drama into games.

Oooooooh, I'm imaging a cross between Max Payne and Morrowind.

Hopefully you can run around a completely seamless world--investigating crimes and taking quests, while at the same time getting into some badass combat. I'd buy that for a dollar!
