Half-Life 2 Lost Coast Media

What's going on there? Looks like an OpenGL 'hijack' mod from the Half-Life 1 days.

If you're talking about how it goes completely white at the end, thats just a metaphorical thing about exposure. The first part fades to black and the second part fades to white.
Also I think the fade to white was done through video editing. I saw lots of grays and, if I understand correctly, HDR is supposed to eliminate that sort of thing.

The Source engine still looks painfully low-poly at times. Nice textures though. I wonder how much it would hurt my frames if I turned texture quality to high in HL2...
