It's been awfully quiet when it comes to Serious Sam 2, but according to this Seriously! news item that should soon change. One of their readers notes that the current issue of Computer Games Magazine is hinting that the June issue will have an article on the game.

I'm pretty excited to see what CroTeam is up to. The lead coder is pretty damn good...he may be not be a household name like John Carmack or even Tim Sweeny yet but he's deserves a lotta respect.

Even though this game has been in low profile mode for some time, I have to admit I'm more excited about this game coming out that almost anything else that's been announced this year. Sure BF2 will become the core game for shackbattles for a while, and Pariah with it's user made multiplayer maps will be a interesting for a while, but Serious Sam 2 is just going to be FUN.

I remember the demo for SS1. I've never before or since died in a game because I was actually laughing at how insane the action was with the headless bombers coming at me from all directions. And 8 player coop at a lan party on Serious difficulty level? Best. LAN Party. Ever.
