The Collective and Backbone Entertainment have announced plans to merge, forming Foundation 9 Entertainment. Backbone is best known for the upcoming PSP game Death Jr, while The Collective has released such games as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. The new company will employ some 300 people across several offices in North America.
