Evening Reading

By Steve Gibson, Mar 29, 2005 5:21pm PST Nice to be home again. Way too much stuff to do but it's nice to be home!

- Music on the web may continue to be hot?
- Dont pay your taxes, nobody else does!
- Tech in new cars
- You dont sleep enough
- MS ID system
- RFID getting new super happy friendly name

Lastly, I finally caved in and signed up for Netflix. I like movies... I actually looked at Blockbuster's service first since I have a store nearby but their website organization just made me cry. You know?

Remember the 90s group Digable Planets? Their first cd had the hit "Cool like that" and they were super laid back with lots of jazz samples. Their follow up album "Blowout Comb" was a classic, but shortly thereafter they just vanished from the scene. I saw them on that tour in New Orleans at the House of Blues and they were great. Well anyway they are back and doing a few shows now. The one I see confirmed is in L.A.:
