Flagship's Hellgate: London

BlizzPlanet reports that the May issue of PC Gamer will have a cover article on Hellgate: London, finally revealing the RPG in development at Flagship Studios. As you might remember, Flagship employs several ex-Blizzard designers and executives including Bill Roper. The news post comes with a pic of the magazine cover, and mentions that the game will appear on PCs and Macs, but there's no other info on the game which will be published by Namco. Update: Groovalicious Games has a bit of a summary of what's mentioned in the article.

So the mac stuff is total speculation.

Oh I'm totally fapping over this. Makes me wish my PC Gamer subscription hadn't expired. Anway:

Addictive Diablo-esque gameplay. Check.
Fallout style post-apocolyptic setting. Check.
Former Blizzard designers. Check.
First-person perspective with 3rd person melee combat...I can dig that as long as the controls don't suck.

Any word on a projected release date?

The game will primarily be played from the first-person perspective (though the article goes out of its way to state that it is NOT an FPS) but will switch to third person view for melee combat
