Late Night Consoling

40
Tonight's the night! Across the country, stores are staying open until midnight to sell eager customers plenty of PSP hardware, games, and expensive memory sticks. Over at GameRankings, you can take a peek at the cumulative scores of PSP launch titles. Wipeout Pure is in the lead at 91%, followed by Lumines with 89%. Five titles average 85% or better, which is rather impressive for a launch lineup. Pretty much all the games are garnering above average scores except for NBA and Gretzky (poor Canadians). I think it's important to point out that GameSpot posted their review of Metal Gear Acid and they gave it a much more favorable score than IGN, giving it an 8.2 out of 10. In any case, good luck to those staying out late and I hope you don't buy a stinker! Don't forget to share your impressions.
