On bad days, I'll spread my Gaijin Perimeter, and combo a Gaijin Optic Blast into a Gaijin Smash for 70% damage. And when I have meter...watch out, cause then I can cancel into Super Gaijin Smash, and there's just no coming back from that.

Speaking of combos and such, just to let you all know (genjuro) Hugo sucks. He's a fat scrub, easy to abuse. I beat you with him having never used him before. Never! I just looked at his moves, and kicked your ass with him. lol.

Any Melbourne, AU based aussies got a Dell 8600 laptop? or a friend with one OR a friend / family member planning to buy one?
I have one with the 1680x1050 screen (+150 on the cost of the 1280x800 model) I really want the 1280x800 screen, dell want 450$ AUD to send me the 1280x800 screen and since my 1680 one is 2 months old now, they won't take it back even if I pay.......
If someone's planning to buy an 8600 or the 600 (same laptop, renamed) I can give you the higher end screen saving you 150$ and I'll pay you another 100$ - saving you 250$ off the total cost :(
My eyes suck and 1680x1050 @ 2 feet away on a 15.4" widescreen is making my eyes bleed - plus using the non standard resolution simply isn't an option.

Seriously though, its really good to see their cheap shotting AI is still there.
I only played the SF3 portion of the game, how is the SFII section? It looked like they put more effort into that but its hard to tell, and after nearly throwing the controller at the TV I think I need a timeout.
So while I cool down, anyone know wtf is up with the OMG UBER moves in the SF3 side? Picking ryus I took his attack that was down to towards twice then blue fist whatever the fuck that means.
In a fight I tried to roll, roll, heavy punch, med punch, light punch and none of them worked, what am I missing?
Also anyone have a site that has a list of ALL of their moves?

I wanted to replace my 1+ year old NB's and went to a nearby New Balance store because I figured they would have my hard to find 14E shoe size.
Once I decided on my new shoes, the shoe guys asks if I still want my old grimey ones with holes in the fabric. I was confused, and then he offers me $15 of the price of my new shoes for them. At the check out to make sure I wasn't lending my old shoes to some weird old-shoe-fetish pornography ring I asked him what was up and he told me NB does this to check how the old shoes wore out for future designs, and then if the shoes are in ok condition they donate them. I thought that was pretty neat thing the company does. A price break + a nice quality control + a little community servies.
Any other shoes stores do that?

Ok, so I just drove a nail through my thigh, should I go to the doctor?
It just dawned on me today that the reason the bottom of my feet have been so gross for a long time could be athlete's foot (I'm thinking from the communal showers freshman year of college), which I basically confirmed looking on the internet. Weird because other than being flakey and gross its never itched or burned like John Madden said it would in commericals.
So before I go out and buy one of those over the counter treatments, anyone have any good or bad experiances with those medicines or hilarious athlete foot stories? Cause otherwise I'm gonna buy BOOM, tough actin tinactin, cause I bet its the only antifungus that shares a spokesman with a video game.

Take a hint from http://www.joystiq.com/entry/1234000550036709/ and put a touch screen ALONG with the regular buttons on the WIRELESS controllers that will ship with your systems. The touch screen works so well with that metroid demo on the DS. The touch screen is the answer to the controller problems for FPS's on consoles.

Since I have never spec'd out an AMD system, how does this look:
ASUS A8N-E Nforce 4 chipset
AMD 64 3500+ socket 939
Corsair XMS ddr400 1 gig
GForce 6800 256mb
WD Raptor 74 gig 10000 RPM SATA drive
I plan on keeping my Game Theater XP from my current machine in the new one.
Also, you think a 380 watt PSU will do?
I plan on upping the RAM to 2 gig eventually. Trying to keep this as reasonable as possible (yeah, right! the wife won't be happy no matter what!)
Basically, I want to set up a machine for the kids, but I'd rather not get one of those dell deals, I'll swing my P4 2.4 for them to use and build myself a nice new machine!

damn, I think I'm having more fun now than I was the first time through. Although all the tank killing missions suck though.
