Free Vietcong Add-On Coming

The official Pterodon website mentions that a free add-on for Vietcong is being released online next week. Titled Red Dawn, the add-on includes a new Vietcong co-op campaign, new multiplayer maps, one new single player mission and AI bots for the multiplayer mode. Look for it March 25. Screenshots can be found here and there's a trailer here.

I loved this games demo but it didnt seem like anyone else I knew was playing it. Is the SP game worth buying? I love co-op but dont know anyone else who plays it. Are there co-op servers?

Very cool. Vietcong and Fist Alpha were fun as hell. The co-op rocked something fierce. Free is always good, I'll definitely download it. :)

Thought Pterodon were neck deep on Vietcong 2 and supporting Illusion Softworks as they're plugging away on Mafia 2?

You can already get this add-on from the UK PC Gamer cover CD.

The coop maps are pretty rock solid, but it makes a change to play as VC. Hopefully they will start to get some playtmie online when the add-on is released on the Pterodon website.
