Silent Hunter 3 isn't even out yet, and they've been developing it for years! WTF is Ubi thinking?!??!

Looks like Ubi is turning to the "crank out shit fast cash in while the franchise is still hot methodology" ala Eidos and Tomb Raider. Yeah, and look where that got Eidos....

Ressurection of the Might and Magic franchise is interesting! HoMM 5 = Win!

But "Product with Might and Magic brand" doesn't sound as promising as "Might and Magic XI" would have. Then again, Jon Van Caneghem is working for NCSoft now, isn't he? I don't have high hopes for an M&M game without him. Kinda like how when EA announced the new Ultima game being made without the input of Richard Garriot. :/

I seriously am starting to side with the Devs at GDC in thinking that the industry should stop with numerous sequals and start making some fresh new titles. Games like Spore are a strong factor in this line of thought.

The Splinter Cell team really has a good thing going.

Original Team from Montreal Creates Splinter Cell 1. Comes out, huge success.

Team from Tokyo (? sorry I can't remember) creates Splinter Cell 2 which comes out 1 year later, huge success.

Meanwhile Original Mont'l Team gets lots of time off, and then works on Splinter Cell 3 which comes out 1 year after SC 2.

So fans get a new SC games every year, and the teams that worked on the games get a little breather. Awesome situation if you can manage it (if both teams are capable of creating quality games).

So I am assuming SC 4 is being produced again by the 2nd (Tokyo?) team.

More Far Cry, I hope they take full advantage of the engine in multiplayer. Its got a lot of potential but it DM and even the assault got old fairly quick.

Quarter 3 looks pretty damn solid to me... PoP3 may be a little questionable after some of the directions Warrior Within took, but a Far Cry expansion, more Brothers in Arms, and King Kong (if I recall, Ancel and the BG&E team are on this one along with Ubi Montreal?) may make me peepee a little.
