Here's a plan: Get the fucking servers up and keep em up. Try doing maintenance at 4am when most people aren't online, rather than during the day. The game is great...when its up and not lagged to hell. And quit giving us cut and paste apologies. I am really tired of being thanked for my patience.

I am a WoW player and I thought that it was just the hype for the game that I'm playing leading me to believe "everyone" is playing WoW. So, I did some digging (and after seeing EQ2's advertisements for "350,000 players".

I found http://www.mmogchart.com/ and they substantiate the 350k number SOE is using however WoW has blown past that and (worldwide) seems to be at about 1.25M players; it is progressing even faster than the insanely popular Lineage II (dangerously extrapolating that growth rates will impossibly maintain).

Lousy interview. I would have asked, "Has the server instability been a primary factor in the reason why no new significant content has been added to the game since launch? If not, what do you see as the primary factor for this?"
