I found some screenshots from my SANTA vs PSYCHO DEER two-player game from 2000. Fugly graphics but the gameplay was buttery smooth. And again the gameplay mechanics of player 2 as the deer trying to convincingly move around like the CPU deer while santa is rigging up traps and trying to find which deer is player 2 makes for some hilarious moments.

When those game making apps came out I thought that people would be making games like crazy, since it's so easy, but that died off rather quickly. Today I barely have any amateur made games installed which is a shame because while amateur games rarely have that great graphics the gameplay and story is often original and very interesting. Why arent you fuckers making games anymore??

So I hit 60 on my Rogue in WoW. Now I get to sit around IF all day like all of the other 60s and hope someones doing an instance run so I can get better gear so I look cooler while sitting around IF. Total playtime was 24 days or something... I took my time and enjoyed the run.

Well if anyone cares, I went to the eye doctor for my contacts this morning. He told me that if I got contacts they would be uncomfortable because I have astigmatism. He told me I could get them anyways but they would be thicker and more expensive than the regular ones.

Linux mens: What's the best distro to run in a 64 bit environment? I'm looking for something that would support kde and gnome as well as firefox in 64 bit. Is my only real option a source based distro like gentoo? Ubuntu appears to have a 64 bit version but not much in the way of apps in 64 bit mode.

PGA Tour 2005 is silly. I just shot a 65 under for a four day tournament. If I skipped round four I still would have won by ten strokes. I didnt have a round over 60 and my lowest round was 52.

God I hope the next Links game comes out soon and is more sim than the last one. The world is in great peril if this doesnt happen.

Mmmm. I just went to Korean Barbeque for the first time.

It's awesome. They should call it what it really is though, "Buffet of MEAT".

You pick out your various raw meats and then cook them on a grill in the middle of the table. Very tasty stuff. So sleepy now.

Shack NCAA Tournament Pool Info!

If you wish to be in this years Shack NCAA pool, please shackmsg me ASAP. If you have friends who you would like to be in the pool, even if they aren't shackers, that's fine too. When you shack message me, I will send you a link to paypal me 5 dollars. If you have a credit card, please pay 5.50, as Paypal rapes you with fees. When you do Paypal me, and this is very very important, as some people were out of the pool last year for this reason, YOU MUST LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR SHACKNAME IS!! Just add your shackname to the notes field on the paypal payment. For people who aren't Shackers, please have them include their email address.

After I recieve payment (and assuming I know who you are) I will send either a shackmsg or an email (your preference) with the league info. I hope to get as many people in this year as possible, hence the opening of the league. Last year we had about 100 dollars, but that included 3 non-shackers.

We've done a 60/30/10 split for the last three years, meaning the winner gets 60 percent of the pool, the 2nd place guy gets 30 percent, and so on.

We are doing the Yahoo Tournament Pick-em - they automatically tally up points per round, so there's no human interaction there. You get points based on choosing the winners of all the games, with the games becoming higher and higher in value as the tourney progresses.

Anyway, good luck, and again, please let me know ASAP - I will be checking shackmsg's later today and hopefully reposting this over the next few days. Bumpage would be appreciated if I'm not around.

I've brought this up in a number of other threads, but it never got any discussion going so I'll make it it's own topic.

If Nintendo comes up with a FREE, stable and user-friendly online solution that doesn't require any extra hardware, I think that it could, combined with all the pent up demand for online play for all their classic titles, could give a little competition to the Xbox.

I don't think it could knock Microsoft out of its slot in the U.S., but it could really get a little fire going again. I'm sure this is why MS is working so hard to beef up the features in Live- to justify the monthly fee, which by many reports, is going to go up for Xbox2.
