Multiplayer is fantastic, not only because its unlike anything i've ever played but more imporantly it doesnt forget its roots. It feels like the single player game with the intesnsity of adding a human factor (though addmitedly most of the humans i've played against are dumber than the ai!). Maulla and I played for quite a while yesterday, and let me tell you a good teamate is absouletly crucial to this game. Maulla and I were covering each others positions, keeping an eye on each other through the situational awarness view and also monitoring the enemy at the same time....ocasaionally taking the time to plug a few bad guys eh ; - ) When things get really close quarters is when the game feels perfect. Having 4 squads duke it out close quarters and watching for the usually lone human flank is always a treat. We both saved each others asses more than a few times. One really memorable momment came when I was dug in with my squad and maulla was about 20 feet from me dug in with his. A grenade landing in my fox hole and I heard the *clink thud* as it landed at my feet. My ai yells at me to get the hell out of there which i did. I was blasted onto the ground with my vision bluring call of duty style. I got up slowly to see maulla firing and manuvering a flank. I got back into the action and turned to my left to see an entire german squad bearing down on me. In my stupor i ordered my men to put some fire on them and sent them to a better cover position as I advanced left firing the entire time. I had them pinned in behind a car. Maulla tosses a grenade and informs me to stay clear of their position. *BOOM* body parts everywhere...we won the match. Intense man...intense.

I've asked about this before and gotten some pointers but I'm sort of lost here... I want to somehow discover what processes are locking certain files. The only way I can think to do this is to enumerate all open processes and explore their open handles, searching for the file in question.
Now I know that you can get a count of the open handles belonging to a particular process in .NET, but I don't see any way to drill down to a list of handles; not in the Process class, the ProcessModule class, and not in the ProcessThread class.
So, I've been investigating the use of the Win32 API by an application written by sysinternals which enumerates all handles opened by a process:

If you're interested in running this test yourself, just run the API monitor, set the process filter to 'include' mode and include the process name 'handle', and then start capturing events. goto the Capture menu and choose 'load process' and put in the handle process, with the command line '-p firefox' (or whatever process name you might have running) and it'll capture all the API calls. Anyway I've been poking through them and I really cant makes heads or tails of how it's discovering all the open file handles.

I found out last Friday when I was drinking and playing games with some buddies that when my friend gave me some caffeine pills they were actually actually pain relievers, and extra strength. So I had about 1500mg of acetaminophen while I was drinking.
Should I be visiting a doctor? I feel fine and I'm not finding anything on google about that much acetaminophen causing liver damage combined with alcohol. Moreover, I took it near the beginning of the drinking, not after, which appears to be when the acetaminophen is the most damaging.
Maybe I'm just fretting for no reason, am I?

I'm building a cheap-o computer for my parents and I put everything together, but when I turn the computer on the monitor never gets a signal and it doesn't sound like its booting normally.
I just noticed that the power supply has one of those 2x2 connectors, but there isn't a port on the motherboard for it, so I figured the processor didn't need it.
Could this be what's causing the problem? If so, is there any way to fix it wouthout buying a new board or power supply?

I'd been having troubles with it causeing a memory dump and reboot upon exiting the program. Also, the last few days, it has been wiping all of my keybinds, including the one for menu.
Been a little annoying.
Going to reinstall it now, and hopefully that will fix the issues. Damned 6 CDs. sigh.....

So now I'm trying to decided between these two that are right near each other, this Sony 30" widescreen HDTV and a Samsung 30" widescreen HDTV. Both are very sexy, but Sony looks nicer. Then the BB guy is talking to some other guy who's trying to get a TV and I hear, "Well actually these are monitors, only [the Samsung] has a tuner."
Jigga wha?! Suddenly $950 for the Sony vs $999 for the Samsung doesn't seem so sweet! Also, BB guy couldn't answer this for me the way I wanted, tell me if he's lying; the Samsung label said explicitly, "configurable for 480i, 720p or 1080i" but the Sony did not. I asked him if it could do 1080i, and he said he wasn't sure, but that since 1080i was "required" in order to be able to claim full HDTV support that it most likely did.
I didn't buy anything yet but the Sony really caught my eye. As far as a tuner, I'll just have to ask Cox if they have cable boxes with s-video outputs because I'm never using composite again. Otherwise I may have a bit of a problem...
And today I learned that wow, they really do rip you when the thing is "just a monitor" although it did have channel buttons... Which worked.
