WIRELESS ROUTERS!
I'm going to BestBuy tommorow to pickup a wireless router. Probably looking to spend around $40-60, and from what I see online, that looks do-able. I'm thinking D-Link, Linksys maybe, any brands I should stay away from specifically? Any advice?

I'm thinking of getting a laptop. But i don't know where to start. The ibook looks nice but I'm not sure. Any suggestions at all would be nice.

I'm replacing my 10GB 3rd gen iPod with a new 40GB iPod Photo. For the first time, my iPod can hold all my music. I just told iTunes to sync all my music to my iPod, as well as 6GB of pictures, and I'll still have about 3GB free.

I'll never be able to listen to all this crap. Where does it end?

Tutorial about configuring web.config to autheticate logins for .ASPX applications.

Which really seem that much of a tutorial. But that's ok, I figured most of what I need to know by looking at different projects that contained web.config as one of the files, and found one that contained default.aspx and login.aspx as well as the web.config that uses forms authetication. And compiled it and tweaked it and got it working the way I want it to.

But the problem is, can another .ASPX application use the same authetication if it's on the same server and the web.config is setup the same way? I mean, I create a new project, use a web.config that's VERY similar (except maybe loginUrl will point to "\login.aspx" or "\relativepath\login.aspx" instead of "login.aspx", and it still can't seem to autheticate...

Filthysock thought my problem was that I was using a different forms name for authetication mode branch of the config file, but no, I've changed it to be the same in both projects.

It's like once it autheticates, it ignores the ReturnUrl and still bounces back to the login screen, even both ASP.NET applications are using the exact same web.config which include settings for form name under <authentication mode="Forms">..

Maybe I'm missing something really obvious... :[

WoW - AH tips?

I hit lvl 40 last night *yay*, but I only have 40g so I need to get some money so I can get my mount.

I'm in Badlands right now because there is a decent amount of mining there and iron sells well (don't know about mithril yet, haven't found much).

Is there a "best day" to post stuff to the AH? I've posted a stack of silver bars there twice now and gotten no bids on it. So I'm thinking of selling my silver to a vendor *eww*. Should I hold all my stuff till Friday night?

My skin does weird stuff while in the shower. I get these red splotches across my chest when the water is on hot. If I turn the water to cold they pretty much disappear. Then when I get out the shower its still there kind of. If I put lotion on then they disappear. Wtf is going on here.

programming question. if you truely wanted to write a cross platform stand-alone application what would langauge do you think would be the best?

"Best" meaning least amount of work needed to make it work on other popular operating systems(Mac, Unix/Linux, Windows)

My first guess would be Python... and maybe Java.

Note : I do most of my professional development in C# so I'm not a python or java bigot.
