I know a lot of people here have posted things along the lines of "Bethesda hire these guys for Fallout!!" but after reading this interview I finally understand why that would never happen.

When you work on a license property, you try to make it your own. If I was working at Bethesda, the last thing I would want was to work with the lead designer from the original Fallout for fear of conflict or just plain doing your own thing.

It's almost like dating this amazing girl and then wanting her old boyfriends to come along on all your dates.

  That may be, but I don't want another Brotherhood of Steel. They tried something new with the franchise and it was horrible. I want the great stories and amazing gameplay from the original 2 games. Who else could deliver that experience better than the creators?
