DOOM 3 Expansion Previews, Media

GameSpy also has a new preview, as do GameHelper and Telefragged. Meanwhile, on FileShack you can find a Resurrection of Evil trailer which shows about a minute and a half of gameplay footage and we have some screenshots right here.
Update: GameSpot and IGN have posted their previews, and GameSpot also has a video interview with id's Todd Hollenshead. GameZone has an article format Q&A with id Software's Matt Hooper.

For klaxon lights that go off when multiplayer events happen (such as a player hitting a tripwire) you need to turn this on so other players who enter the light's PVS get the state update. Even then, the state is delta compressed, so in essence you are not sending that much data.
MUCH care has been taken in the CTF maps to simulate all states exclusively on the client as much as possible.
(I am not commenting on the netcode or anything else by exclusion one way or another, just the available Doom tech.)
