HELP NEEDED PLEASE

making a long story short:

FF and IE stopped working. ICQ still worked and could play online games.
unistalled SP2... everything started working fine but VERY slow
VERY slow for a good week.. didn't know what to do.
tried to do a quick upgrade of windows but did not work.
crashed half way through the the upgrade telling me i have some error
happens every time.
i guess there's NO OS on the computer now.... as it stalls everytime i boot it.
ANYTHING i can do?

so for this silly html/css/java class I'm taking, we're required to make a page that plays a video. Obviously, the possibilities for various forms of goatsex0ring the faculty are limitless. However, since it would be nice to have a passing grade of this class I need to go with something slightly more subdued dude ...

So, post your favorite hysterical albeit short videos. The only constituents are:

links need to be for downloadable videos, becuase I have to push both the video and the html to the school's webserver for grading.

I don't read comics, so I didn't have any pre-conceived ideas about Constantine. Being free of that crap allowed me to enjoy the movie for what it is.

Deep fans of stuff get very offended when their special niche is brought to a bigger audience. Their once private thing, is now not so special anymore, and is somehow less than before.

I read a news story today about an old guy finally getting his medal for stuff back in WW2. He did an emergency appendectomy in a submarine with spoons and shit. The patient lived, but this is what happened to him, from the article:

If a friend of mine has HL2 and Steam logins how can I borrow it to play? I know that there is some way to do this and not get him banned. He won't be playing at the same time as me or any of that sneaky stuff. We want to do it legit you know like in the old days when you could borrow stuff from people and not have to worry about it being taken away from you?

I think I screwed myself over, I recently wen to uninstall Steam, to solve problems of the past, well, the uninstallation kind of froze when it was uninstalling it, so I ended it, so it uninstalled most of Steam, but not all of it, so it's not working at all. Heres the problem, I am trying to re-install Steam on my computer, but it won't do it because my computer thinks that Steam is already there, but when I try to run it, I get a fatal error. I tried to search and delete all the files, but it says that it has either been moved to another location or it's on another Hard Drive. What should I do?

Note that the compiler doesn't like this code because AObj and BObj are not initialized before being sent into a function call, although that function serves the purpose of initializing them. This I gather is another "safeguard" of the Java language and thus isn't really part of the question; I just think it should be able to be stated like it's listed there.

Now, since everything "unprimitive" in Java (or I could have just said objects) is passed by reference, it makes sense to me that what's listed there should work. Now, if I initialize AObj and BObj to null to just get the compiler to shut up, I get a null pointer exception. But wouldn't the function call not really care about the existing object, since it just allocates and stores a new one anyway? And then if I initialize AObj and BObj to something real, like new Double(1.11); it keeps that value. Ejsy dyof ,odyslr s, I making? (That would be "what stupid mistake am I making" but I made the stupid mistake of typing when I was looking at something else and my fingers were right shifted.)

I think new tires/brakes stopped me from killing someone this morning. I was approaching the last corner on the way to work, a T-junction, so i'm turning off the main road and down a side street, and some woman was walking along the footpath with her back to me on the other side of the road, and as she got closer she just walked across the side street without even looking, right in front of me. I was too busy concentrating on the car coming the other way in the distance, and I saw that she wasn't half way across the road as I started to brake to take the corner. It's a smooth-ish corner, so you don't take off heaps of speed, you can just touch the brake a bit and roll around it. As I started taking the corner, she started walking across without ever actually looking to traffic, right at the last minute as i started turning the wheel. I actually had to brake hard enough to lock everything up. I figured she would stop to look and see me coming when she reached the traffic island in the middle of the road.

It was amazing, cause she just turned and looked when she heard the noise, started down at my bonnet no more than a meter from her and then just turned and kept walking. I should have just hit her, it would have got me out of at least a few hours this morning. Some people are amazing. She didn't even look like some dazed drug addict that didn't know what time it was, just a normal person, starting their normal day, nearly ending it before 9am. I don't know how people can just walk across the road without looking. I would be squeezing my eyes shut bracing for the impact.

Either they aren't teaching enough physics classes in school that discuss force and impact, and density of a human versus a metallic vehicle, or maybe people are just so damn fucking retarded that they just think that it's not their problem and that it 'wont happen to them' or something. Actually, thats more like what it is, it's that 'not my responsibility' thing that seems to be the norm nowadays. Nice that people are putting their lives on the line for it.

I am really looking forward to The Hitchhiker's Guide. I was a little doubtful that it could be pulled off, but the trailer looks pretty damn good.

ATTN EVE Online Menz.

I have a feeling I can get into this game. How many of you out there are playing this game? OK, better yet, how many have stuck WITH the game, and for how long?

I got a trial account from my cousin and got hooked into a Corporation. I am developing a Scientist character. I have NO idea what to do with him. Granted I have only been playing since Saturday. Any advice at all?
