So I sat down and organized my new design plan. I figured out how new components would look, how old ones would change, and which became deprecated by my new system. The block diagram on paper showed me a much more robust, accurate simluation of the process that was being test. It was time to start punching out the code.
It started innocently enough, a few variable modifications, a minor class alteration, and then soon I was ripping entire functions out to rebuild them from the ground up. My new design seemed so much more logical--and in all honesty, when I originally wrote the old application, I had actually made it incorrectly and although it worked, it emulated the process inaccurately and gave proper results but made you jump through hoops that didn't even exist in the real system--but as I got deeper and deeper into the bowels of some of the functions I realized I was going to have to rework a significant number of data structures. Lists were no longer enough. I realized now I needed lists of lists and new classes and lots and lots and lots of arrays. I looked at the clock. It was 3PM. I had returned to the office around 2:30, and I was working until 9:30.
It was a very very long night. My last build was 9 or so errors. The first two were about 32, so at least I was making progress... in one function
On that note, let's get audience participation! If your company has a slogan, erase it, and then make up a new one that's more accurate to your daily routine, and potentially funny! If it doesn't have a slogan, just make one up::

"We can't tell you what we make.
But we can tell you you wouldn't be here today if we didn't make it."

I started off thinking that I would just use this to get some tracks that were hard to find in the usual channels but now, I'm actually starting to see how I could fall in love with this crazy subscription music thing. I'm even starting to think that it might be worth paying for to keep the flood of music coming(?!)
any of you doing this, and if so, what do you think of the service?

Dell is making a 24" 12ms (well 12/16ms) flat panel display.............
1199$ US though........... - I don't even like flat panels but at that price hell I'd consider one just for work.
Now if only 16:10 was more supported by video drivers ! >:(
(my darn dell 8600 "stretches" 4:3 games. to 16:10 - I'd prefer pillarboxes to be honest)

i'm trying to remove this shit but every reboot it creates like 5 new exe's in my system32 folder. i've already run adaware and it was able to delete most of the shit that got installed, but not this worm called VIX that keeps fucking replicating.
now ie constantly crashes even in safe mode and safe mode with networking and it modified my hosts file to be a bunch of porn sites. i edited my hosts file back to 127.0.0.1 localhost but i can't connect to any websites. I want to run housecall.trendmicro.com.
anyone know of something I can do to get my browsing ability back so i can run housecall in safe mode with networking?? free blowjob for the answer man, courtesy of genjuro <3.

Remember when Intel ditched plans for faster Pentium 4 cpu's and tossed model numbers on to thier cpu's? They also had plans to ditch the Pentium 4 for the Pentium M platform with a dual core that would run faster and operate at much cooler tempatures.
By how much, you ask? Take a look at the test version for the "Yonah" processor. ie. Dual core Pentium M.

One of my guild groups was doing a Zul run, in another voicecom channel
They killed Antu'Sul
Sang'thraze dropped
They gave it to the enchanter who disenchanted it 'because it looked like crap'
It took me about 5 minutes to work up the heart to tell the Warrior in that party what he just did

Nothing else about today would be different, just that most of us would have slaves.
People would be posting about things their slaves are doing (or aren't doing) and people would have lol slave stories. I would probably game it up with my slave (they would have to lose though). The more I think about it the more desirable it is, save for the whole forcing someone into a life of servitude against their will. But still.

For those that got in on the 777 deal.. (where you got 2.4 gigs of space and 120gb of bandwidth/month).
How long did it take for your domain to resolve? I signed up a little over 48 hours ago.. and it still hasn't shown up. The FTP works all fine and dandy, but my domain doesn't show up.
Am I supposed to do something or what? Hepl :(
