Oh man March is going to be a busy month.

I haven't bought a game since November 2004 (when I spent like $700 on games and game-related stuff) and I have been holding back from picking up a bunch of games, in order to get Ye Old Credit Card down a bit.

SC: PT is at the top of my list (along with Prince Of Persia: WW; KOTOR 2; Vampire; COD: UO; and maybe the Doom ]|[ expansion)

FYI there is a 'Special Edition' DVD of SC: PT a'la the Halo 2 LE (comes with an extra DVD, tin case, etc.)

    PRE-ORDER'D

I would skip 75% of those games on your list.

        SC:PT is a pre-order. The rest I am 90% sure I will pick up ASAP (in March-April).

Have you played those games? Why do you think I should skip them?

Vampire the Masquerade is a mixed bag - good characters/dialogue, but the combat, level design, and graphics are ok to lame. It's worth $20-30, but only if you need an RPG and you've already played Fallout, Fallout 2, BG, BG2, Planescape Torment, etc. The same pretty much goes for KOTOR 2.

You say you haven't bought anything since November, so does that mean you have Rome Total War, Warhammer 20K:DOW, HL2, and Pirates? If not, any of those should, I think, preempt what you have on your list.

I have Half-Life 2 and Pirates! Half-Life 2 was one of the games I spent the most money on in Nov ($125 Cdn. for the game, $26 for the Raising The Bar, $25 for the prime strat. guide)

Rome: TW doesn't interest me (don't like those kind of strategy games)

War Hammer I know nothing of.

I love Warhammer aka Dawn of War. Great RTS game if that's your bag.

Nope don't like strategy games (Sims, Civilization, WarCraft, or the like).

The only ones I ever gave a damn about were the "Myth" series by Bungie (loved those).

Just don't have the patience for strategy games (and I am a very patient person). I find them tedious.

Well give the demo a shot if you want. It's a little different from other RTS games in how you gather resources. But still, it's a strategy game.

Not one I'd consider tedious though myself.
