I hate Creative with EAX as much as the next person but damn, if your going to create an in-house sound engine at the very least make it equal to the standard with stability/performance.
I probably should try and turn down sound hardware acceleration to see if that fixes it. Although this will be the first game that I had to do that for.
Other than that, the music in WoW is top-notch.
