Take-Two Interactive today announced that it has signed more Major League Baseball related deals, following up an agreement with the Major League Baseball Players Association with deals with Major League Baseball Properties and Major League Baseball Advanced Media. The company also signed New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter to a contract to be a spokesperson and cover athlete for 2K Sports baseball games. GameSpot has an interview with Take-Two's Paul Eibeler about the deals.

GS: Why specify the preclusion of third party publishers? PE: We just never felt it was our position to cut out the hardware companies.
