Take Two Creates 2K Games Label
by Maarten Goldstein, Jan 25, 2005 6:31am PSTTake-Two Interactive today announced that it starting another publishing label (they already have Rockstar Games and Global Star Software) called 2K Games. It will be the outlet for several internally and externally developed console and PC games, including those from Take-Two owned studios Visual Concepts, Kush Games, Indie Built, Venom Games, PopTop Software and Frog City Software. According to Take-Two, the label will publish everything "from high-profile Hollywood licenses to PC-only titles to sports titles". Close Combat: First to Fight and Stronghold 2 have moved from Global Star Software to this new label.
