Steam News Update

The Steam website has this news update which you get displayed when you start Steam up, mentioning that Valve has received over 200 submissions in the Half-Life 2 Deathmatch competition. They have started judging them, and the release of the winning maps will go together with a new release of HL2DM which will include the Slam and Stunstick weapons. The update also mentions that level designer Dave Riller is working on a cs_compound map.
