World of Warcraft Extension, Battlegrounds Preview

The official World of Warcraft website has been updated with word that due to the server problems plaguing the game, Blizzard is giving everyone 48 hours of extra playing time for free. The company also says "we will also continue putting every effort into consistently delivering more information about related technical issues". In related news, the second part of the Battlegrounds PvP preview is now up.

People dont want discounts or free time. They simply want to get the service that they are paying for. I had to wait over an hour in queue the other night just to get to the character selection screen. I feel sorry for folks who are grouped in an instanced zone...if u go linked there, you're screwed.

The game in it's current state is a joke. There are two raid encounters designed to accomodate players that have already hit level 60 and farmed BRS/Scholo/Strath for the majority of loot, both of which are bugged so that if you enter the instance once, noone outside of that group can ever enter it with you in the future. The 'endgame' so to speak is entirely nonexistent.

They should really have mercy with us and make the game worse. Its too damn good to handle the demand with top of the line server hardware.
