    well, after 22 hours out of the past 48 i've started and finished metal gear 3.

    great game. waaaaay drawn out and has the pacing of a dead snail but fun. movies were way too long in the beginning and end jesus shit AN HOUR FOR THE FRIGGING FINALE but in the middle it was good mix of gamepaly and storytelling. graphics are top notch, on par with twin snakes, althought some of the more intense scenes stuttered a bit.

    story was in the middle. more confusing than MG:S/twin snakes, but not nearly as fucked up and stupid as sons of liberty. and this one tries to tie itself in with the other two stories, sometimes it does it well and sometimes its laughable.

    the fighting was pretty good too, they were pretty inventive this time with how they threw you into battle, i loved facing down the souls of everyone i killed with the sorrow definitely a selling point for the game.

    if the movies weren't so draining to sit through then this game would be just as good if not better than MG:S/Twin Snakes


    oh yeah loved that nod to the gay, long haired blonde colonel raidenov. roofles!

    I hate computer.... nothing ever works like it is suppose to.
    So i get my girlfriend a netgear wireless router + cardbus card combo from amazon for xmas. So when i get it, i take it over to her house and set it up just to make sure it works before i send in the rebate, and wrap it up for xmas. Everything works perfectly. All is good, i pack everything up, wrap it up and wait for xmas.
    Chrismas comes and i try to set the thing up. Router goes in without and troubles, but then i try to stick the pc card in her laptop and the damn thing freezes the laptop, then blue screens. WTF? i tested this damn thing to make sure it would work ahead of time. So i try uninstall driver, different driver version. Eventually i kill the windows registry and just reinstall windows. Nothing work. So i try the card in my laptop and it works fine. I try my network card in her laptop and it works fine. So nothing is broken, but that one card just doesn't work with her laptop any more.
    So i'mjust going to switch cards with her... but WTF, seriously wtf? I hate computers.
