They indicate that indoor and outdoor scenes are still separate. Not unreasonable, but the load times in Morrowind were just awful. I can excuse the load times when you're entering/leaving buildings (since these usually use different rendering techniques), but the excessive loadtimes when you're just walking through the outdoors sucked. A lot of the game was spent traversing the landscape. You could naturally increase your run speed, or drink potions to make you run/fly extremely fast, but then you'd just spend all your time waiting through load pauses. So since they haven't explicitly commented on it one way or another, here's to hoping they have a dynamic data loading scheme, or that they at least minimize the pauses.
The other thing is the comment on the combat system. What they say is pretty reasonable, but they suggest that the alternative was "too action-heavy". I know RPG's are traditionally action-independent, but I really don't feel there's any good reason for that. Fable had its problems, but for an RPG the combat system was pretty decent. On the other hand, Morrowind was fantastic in a lot of ways, but the combat system was just not fun at all. Definitely needed more precision -> more action.
That is all.
