  I played the original version and it was fun for about a month. Then I got rather bored with it. I expected it to be more like Total War but with more indepth castles. Looks like Stronghold 2 might be like how I want it to be. I just hope I dont get dissapointed.

    I hope its very similar to the original. I liked the whole simplistic aspect of it...personally TW games bore me to tears and I can't play them for more than a week.

      I agree with the comment about TW games. It seems when I read the back of boxes these days all I see is "COMBAT", "ACTION", and "MASSIVE BATTLES". ItÃ¢Â€Â™s really disheartening to me. Although I don't want combat to be missing, I enjoy the infrastructure management of games like the first Stronghold exceptionally more than TW games. I think I saw the box for Stronghold 2 and it seemed all the features were geared more towards the war aspect, and that made me instantly lose trust in it. This review gives me a lot of hope though. :)
