2I've covered this a couple of times before, (story1, story2)but it looks like Ion Storm is now confirming that Daikatana will not make Christmas. On a positive note though the quoted Ion employee (John Kavanagh) states 'finally have a good game on our hands' which is good news.

I don\'t think Romero\'s programming or design have ever really been in question, but the management has been piss poor, and having assholes around like Todd Porter can\'t help.
I\'d like Diakatana to be a decent game, but I\'m not optimistic.
