All I've seen of this game so far seems to unfortunately have "Designed by Deja Vu" stamped all over it. I get the unfortunate feeling that anyone who has played Desert Combat will simply be in for Desert Combat With a Prettier Engine (tm). I *really* hope they do some revolutionary stuff with this franchise, or it might just become a one hit wonder.

How bad are the spoilers?

I find as I'm getting older I like to hold back on seeing too much content of my favourite games in development.

I'm trying to avoid HL2DM until I beat HL2 single player..I don't like the idea of seeing ALL the weapons in one 15minute sitting when it would have taken me weeks to see them playing at a casual pace thru SP.

Wow those maps are looking pretty sweet!

I love how each map has 3 different settings. Might make some of the suck maps suck less in sertain modes.

Nice to put the effort for the link but that is a pretty lame story. To even spend the time to look at maps and two useless in-game images. Let the Hype Machine start. (And why people bother, such as myself, to look at it ...)
