Haha, I've never seen a company release a "patch" that made every other game that company made not work. I mean I wouldn't care half as much if it had only affected the update they were releasing. But that it took away my ability to play HL2, CS:S and others. It's not like I needed to play them right then of course but it's just the principle of the thing.
I'm still waiting for id software to release the update to Doom3 that makes it impossible for me to play Quake1,2,3, Wolfenstein and the older Doom games.
Steam is retarded because this type of stuff has happened to me from day one.
