FPS games with consoles suck, Aim helpers are there for a reason, because you can't be accurate. It takes me forever to whip around with gamepad. Let alone aim precisely.
This is why Halo didn't stun me, or Metroid Prime (great games, but.. controller?)
And it seriously became this huge of a hit? (Yes, I know there are mouse/kb adapters out there but SRLZY) This game made impact on most people via default controls.
I did try it out on PC, with mouse, and it was great (albeit, ran funny on my good system) good story, control, ect.. but this was after playing Far Cry, Max Payne, ect.
Am I the only one who is letting Halo 2 fly right past me, totally unconcerned..until the PC port comes out? (mouse/kb/higher res/better multiplayer organization)?

Having an issue with how a page is rendered in Firefox. I have a UL in a table and it looks fine in IE, but in Firefox the bullets in the list overlap into the cell to the left. Similar issue can be seen on this ESPN page http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/feature/featureStory?page=ncaapreview2004 with the conference list.
Anyone have any idea what is causing the difference and how to solve it?

I showed up at Wal-mart in Derby, Kansas at 11:30. Never heard of Derby? It is the armpit stain on South Central Kansas. This is a town built on credit card debt! Anyways, I had figured it wouldn't have a whole lot of people. Sure enough, there was a small line mostly of soccer moms buying the game for their kids waiting at home! Beer Halo2 Bitches.
Once midnight hit, instead of just giving us the game and letting us go to the front register, they had everything rang out in electronics. The firsts in line got the sliver box thing (I don't even know whats in those!) and the rest got normal Halo 2 action. The best part was that ONE REGISTER was open for us. Who was working it? A 70 Year old man! It was a painful process getting the precious. While he was ringing me out, I told him I wanted to buy all the other copies they had. He almost started to scan them before I said I was kiding. The guy behind me in line almost shit his pants when he heard me say that.

Fuck you SOE for taking an awesome idea and rich world, and turning it into a boring shitfest. I waited and waited, just hoping that the game would turn itself around, only to be let down, again and again.
I even held out for Jump to Lightspeed, and was happy when I got selected for the beta. Happy until I actually logged in and saw the same half-assed implementation just like always.
I'm moving on to WoW. SWG has been voted off the island.

The EB I waited at for 5 hours held a Halo tournament for one of those awesome Halo 2 Xbox Live headsets.
After going through the entire thing undefeated they ended up giving me one of those cheap knockoff Plantronic XBL headsets. Now I gotta pony up another $50 to get one :(
