Then I jumped in, and it was shoot, die.. respawn in the same place, shoot, kill, die.. rinse, repeat.. over and over again. With a few people in the server, nobody ever lasted more than a minute or so before getting killed. No vehicles, and and an overall clunky feel to the game.
I've been into fps's since 1992.. nothing in this demo to keep me interested. It's been done before and done better. Performance was pretty bad on my fx 5900/768 pc3200/p4 2.8.
Call of Duty/United Offensive already has this ground covered. I didn't notice much use of Directx 9 either.

After hopping into the demo I can now reveal the contents:
- 1 map entitled mp_gifu playable in invader, free for all, and team deathmatch modes
- Invader sees the allies attacking 4 objectives, with the axis defending
- Four player classes are available (infantry, medic, engineer, ammo tech), along with a limited selection of weaponry
Be advised that you may wish to head to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Medal of Honor Pacific Assault(tm) MPDemo\mpdemo\settings.ini, uncheck read-only status, adjust the demo refresh rate to something that won't destroy your eyesight, and then re-check the read-only status before playing.
