World of Warcraft Launches November 22?

11

The Detroit Free Press website is the unlikely source with the World of Warcraft launch date, which is November 22 according to them. Several stores show the game as launching November 15 but apparently VUGames' North American president Phil O'Neil told the Free Press columnist the game would launch a week later. Thanks Bill. You can find some more beta impressions at HomeLAN Fed.

Switching topics to the open beta, I want to know what Blizzard's denifition is of "coming soon"... they announced it nearly three weeks ago!

And more of a concern is how many features have yet to be fully implemented or tweaked yet? Especially with retail release supposedly three weeks away.

        battlegrounds/arenas
tallents for hunters & paladents (maybe more, not sure the warlocks have 3 tallent trees yet)
        Plainsrunning

Here are some other things expected in the next patch (or soon):
        racial traits
changed to the item durability system

there are some more, but I cannot find them in 1.3 minutes and that is all the time I am going to spend on that.

Racial traits MUST be in before release. Features like battlegrounds can be delayed, talent points can be respent, but you're stuck with racial traits forever. I would hate to have to restart a character because I don't like the racial trait they bestow upon me a couple weeks after retail.
