Has anyone heard of a 64-bit version of Far Cry coming out? A bunch of my buddies went to the AMD Tech Tour last week and saw a presentation by AMD and Nvidia (I'm pretty sure no ATI people were present) and they were shown snippets of a '64-bit enhanced' version of Far Cry.

I couldn't get off work that early (started at noon) and only managed to come to the last part of the show. The Nvidia guy was too busy going on and on with people that were raving about DooM3 so I never got around to asking him about it. They had a 30-player Far Cry tourney to keep people busy, though :)

Though I've been having lots of fun with the fan-made single player maps/missions I think I'll play through Far Cry the third time when 1.3 is released.

Wow...I'm amazed that Half-Life 2 might go gold before I finally play Far Cry. Never would've thought. :-D
