If you guys have a dual 450 with a GeForce DDR you really don\'t need to upgrade. With intel latest bugs in their new chipset, it doesn\'t look that appealing if you ask me. Quake III for me runs great with my TNT2 Ultra soon to have a Geforce DDR. There is really no need to upgrade soo soon, just wait for the 1Gigahertz models. At this rate we will see it before the end of next year. I love this competition from AMD! :) If it wasn\'t for AMD we would be on the 600Hz level around $800+ Plus that Rambus ram shit is soo damn expensive. Waiting is best if you ask me. No need to jump the 800Hz bandwagon soo soon. Unless you are 300MHz or under :(

and btw- upgrade will allow you to run any slot1 100 mhz fsb intell processor.
Im waiting for the $ to drop on the P3 700. Basically, the new bios allows for

I have a Celeron366 that runs perfect at 567MHz at default voltage. It cost me $100 and is noticably faster than my old P2-300@464MHz.

Looked at pricewatch and they want like $800 for a P3-733, no telling what they will want for the P3-800 but it doesn\'t matter because I wouldn\'t spend that much on a cpu anyway.

I just can\'t see spending all this huge coin on processors and videocards when some cheap stuff works so damn good.
Guess I\'m becoming a tightwad like my old man...
