Late Night Consoling

Just like many of you out there, I'm pretty excited for Halo 2. I was floored with the E3 2002 trailer and one of the highlights of last year's E3 was playing the multiplayer for about half an hour (even though my team was thoroughly dominated). Typically, I enjoy experiencing games 'fresh,' knowing as little as possible going in. That's harder nowadays as I want to keep current on everything so I can properly do my job here, but with Halo 2, Bungie has made it easy for me. Now, as for my point, this month's issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) has a preview of the singleplayer. They do not spoil one bit of the story, but there are some screenshots in there of stuff we haven't seen before. With all the stuff swirling around out there, I say if you've lasted this long not knowing much about the game, hold out just a few more weeks.

However, plenty of Shackers and many gamers across the Internet have been picking up the console the last couple of days. Your mileage may vary, so call your local retailer before heading on over.
