Hey guys. The WCG is in town this weekend and I got some pictures. I would've posted these sooner but I wanted to get pix for today. Since I'm not going to heading down there like I wanted to, I thought I'd go ahead and share.

I tried to take some close zooms of the gypsy chicks for your benefit but I only have 2x zoom. Plus, for some of the pictures, flash photography was prohibited, so my apologies for blurry shots. Lastly, there brief is a video of shacker Edward flipping me off.
Over I was very impressed with the organization of the the event and the sheer scale of it all. ITG is doing a fantastic job of shoutcasting the matches (and even have it available via FM radio for the spectators!). For anyone interested, I believe Team 3D (USA) is about to start their Championship CS:CZ match.

So I'm looking for some good RPG's to put on this laptop for entertainment purposes during campus downtime or long flights.
It's a 1.5Ghz processor with 512MB of Ram. 64MB video card.
Any suggestions? I was thinking of BGII or maybe Icewind Dale. However, I need something that wouldn't require 20 millions discs to travel with.

I am a dentist. I can diagnose periodontal disease in persons standing next to me in the grocery line by the characteristic odor of their rotting gums.
Reminds me of the movie :)

I just want to complain about the generic speech style Presidents have these days. Although I can't remember specifics, I do recall thinking that after Bush was elected and put into office the manner in which he spoke change. Everything is slower and more drawn out. He takes long pauses at mid-sentence to seem solemn and sincere. Of course its been even worse since 9/11.
Thinking about it, I could be wrong, but it seems ALL Presidents could be this way. Its especially rampant in official speeches to the entire country, as opposed to a rally. Any nationally broadcast speech thats how they are. If I were a betting man, and luckily I am, I would say that the exact same thing will happen to Kerry should he be elected. I've been impressed with Kerry the last few debates, something I never thought I could say, but I bet the same thing will happen to him.
I'm sure comprehensive studies have shown thats when they best connect with the people who vote (read: old people) but I still find it obnoxious. I don't remember Clinton speeches pre-election, but he spoke in the exact same fashion as Bush. Minus mispronunciations and some stuttering of course. Am I crazy or does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I expect a fairly split response on this but was curious, for you c/c++ programmers do you use void main or int main and why? The "standard" is int main, but the only good reason I've ever read as that being the standard was that the void type didn't originally exist in c (not sure if this is true or not). Obviously if you want to return something then you want int main of course.
However, lets say you don't want to return anything. On the flip side I can fine no convincing argument that void main is bad because ANSI said it was a long time ago. One web site even said it was "inviting trouble" but didn't say what this trouble may mean.
So what way do you use, and why? Do you think it ultimately matters or that one way or the other is dumb?
